I always say I will give $35 and get the person to send me a card. I just give them a fake name and address. At least I am wasting their time and money. It works best when I can give an address another scammer gave me to send some check.

I write out checks for my 75 year old father-in-laws bills, he received four of these “bills” on the same day. They all look similarly printed on the same paper... same printer/ink. They give no information about the PACs or charities but all state the amount he agreed to pay (via phone), with a confirmation number and the date he agreed to pledge... no receipt for him... they just didn’t look legit. I found this while looking them up The PACs and carities are as listed (if anyone has any info on any others):
United Women’s Health Alliance PAC
National Volunteer Firefighters Alliance
Support America’s Police PAC
Police Officer Defense Alliance
