Rick Bronsteain, as someone who has never voted in a party primary and is nonpolitical, I would say I'm coming from a don't-want-to-die-from-coronavirus slant. This ought to be nonpolitical but, as I described at some length, isn't. If you think the 41% vaccination number in Las Vegas is misleadingly low, then so is the 70% figure for Seattle, since everybody uses the same definitions. So Las Vegas still trails badly. But Seattle's economy isn't nearly as dependent as Las Vegas's is on tourism. As someone on my personal Facebook page wrote in response to the same post, "Your political points aside, I find it appalling that a county that purports to be a tourist destination is as underimmunized as it is. I’m staying away."

The statistic about 41% fully vaccinated is misleading. Those under 12 are not eligible which means more than 50% are fully vaccinated.

That being said, I agree with much of what you wrote, especially the BS that casinos could open but not churches.

I'm proudly not vaccinated, not because I don't think the virus is real, because I am convinced that using other options such as HCQ, Ivermectin, D3, etc are better protection that a vaccination. And as more variants occur (as they will - it's a damn virus), the vaccines will become less and less effective.

All in all, while I'm sure the writer is a coming from a left-wing slant, it was reasonably fair to both sides.
