Someone, you might consider contacting the part of the Arizona Attorney General's office that deals with consumer protection. These kind of PACs are really out-and-out frauds, and authorities should be protecting folks.

I don't live in Nevada, I live in AZ, and I came across this article online when trying to find a phone number for said organization! I get at least 10 calls daily, yes daily, from these scammers, and the caller ID lists them as coming in from all over the USA! On top of that, I also get calls from the Fireman's PAC and the Policeman's PAC! The calls from the Breast Cancer PAC start at around 6 AM, every day, including the weekends! I feel like my phone has been hijacked, the calls are constant, and I block each number as they come in and I hang up on them, and yet, they are endless! I feel that the government needs to do something about this, as I pay my phone bill every month and I feel like I am paying to receive these harassing constant calls! I am totally fed up!

Anonymous, good for you for doing some research. It's shameful that regulators across the country don't crack down on ABCC-PAC and others of its ilk.

I just received a "Pledge Card" from ABCC-PAC after receiving a phone call from them. I was in my vehicle on the road at the time and didn't want to spend time talking while driving. I asked them to send me documentation of their request and they grudgingly agreed. They really wanted my credit card number which, of course, I refused to give them. As a follow up, they called again after I returned to my office and I agreed to contribute but not by credit card... only by check. They then sent me the pledge card for my remittance. When I received the Pledge Card, I read the statement on the reverse side and only then did I realize this might not be legitimate and decided to do a bit of research on them before remitting a check. Glad I did. Once I read "PAC" on their statement, I began to think this might be what you refer to as a "Faux Charity" and subsequently tore up the pledge card. My overall sense, now, is that this is just another "fishing" attempt to get my credit card number and, oh by-the-way, get me to send them cash money. Sorry folks... you can just go pound sand...
