Howard Beckerman, certainly true about medical specialties. I hear this all the time, too. Some even go to Salt Lake City.

Everyone Doctor in Las Vegas who I have spoken to on the subject goes to California when they need treatment.
Our state government needs to spend more on resident subsidies to retain and attract medical school graduates.
